From tall buildings that graze the sky, to mini LEGO cities. Here are Wordsearch’s pick of cultural events happening in November.

City of London Walking Tour

This tour, run by New London Architecture, takes in London’s major commercial buildings and the medieval streets which contain them. The two hour walk passes The Leadenhall Building, One New Change and St Paul’s Cathedral. 8th November.

London International Animation Festival

As the largest animation festival in the UK, London Animation Festival, draws to an end, one must-see masterclass is still due to take place. Andreas Hykade, one of the most talented voices in animation today, will break down the art of animation for film at the Barbican. 2nd November.

Great British Buildings

A selection of RIBA award-winning buildings have been offering architect tours, and you can catch the final one in London. This one-off walking tour led by Nick Peri from Allies and Morrison Architects, will reveal touring dance company Rambert’s new home on the Southbank.  19th November.

Brick 2014

Stemming from our love of buildings, Wordsearch’s lust for LEGO knows no bounds. This interactive event features workshops with LEGO designers, and creations from some of the world’s best builders. There will be painstakingly crafted LEGO towns and cities, including a model of Victorian London by creative foursome ‘Bricks to the Past’. 27th-30th November.

This is Not a Gateway Festival

A two-day festival acting as a platform for awareness about our increasingly urbanised lives. There will be a series of discussions, workshops, exhibitions, films, walks and performances. 1st & 2nd November.
